Head of Depositary, Custody & Settlements
Since the establishment of the Company’s depositary and custody services, Elmira Ghalumyan’s dedicated work has played a pivotal role in shaping these services into a benchmark of quality within the industry. Under her leadership, the Depositary Department of ROQ Capital has repeatedly received annual awards from the Central Depository of Armenia across various categories.
Head of Registry & Custody
Amalya joined the ROQ Capital team in 2022 as a specialist in Registry Management and Custody Services. Thanks to her responsible approach to work, strong professional knowledge and consistent performance, she quickly advanced in her career and was promoted to the position of senior specialist. In 2025, Amalya was appointed Head of Registry Management and Custody Services, taking responsibility for overseeing the department’s key processes, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of service quality. Senior Trader
With more than 4 years of experience in the Armenian securities market, Mane currently works as a Senior Trader at ROQ Capital. She specializes in investment portfolio management, securities trading and foreign exchange (FX) transactions. Mane ensures the fast, accurate and efficient execution of client orders while maintaining high professional standards. She continuously analyzes financial markets and participates in investment and trading decision-making processes. As part of her professional development, Mane successfully obtained the CFA Level II qualification. In addition, she was recognized as the most impactful contributor to the AMX Trader testing process.
Chief Dealer
Edgar has been with the company since its very first steps 30 years ago. Edgar is the one to ensure that orders are executed within deadlines and on the best conditions. In 2023, he won the AMX award as the partner with the most significant contribution to the testing of the new stock exchange platform, the AMX Trader.
Senior Trader
Edward joined the ROQ Capital team in late 2020 after returning to Armenia. Before that, he had twice won Lebanon’s Virtual Stock Exchange competition and worked on the trading desk at BLOM Invest Bank. Interestingly, dance played an important role in Edward’s life long before he entered the world of finance. For more than 20 years, it was an important part of his life, helping him develop the discipline, focus and resilience that would later prove valuable in financial markets. After moving to Armenia, what inspired Edward most was the opportunity to apply his experience and knowledge in his homeland. According to Edward, one of the things he values most about ROQ Capital is its ability to remain globally minded and forward-looking while staying deeply connected to its roots. Today, Edward serves as a Senior Trader at ROQ Capital, particularly valuing teamwork and the shared vision that brings people together.
Head of Global Custody & Settlements
Although Milena began her professional career in the banking sector, an important part of her professional journey has been associated with ROQ Capital. After spending some time working in the banking industry, she returned to ROQ Capital, bringing with her extensive experience and new professional achievements. Of her 13 years of professional experience, Milena has spent 9 years at ROQ Capital. Today, she serves as Head of International Custody and Settlement Operations. According to Milena, returning to ROQ Capital was one of the most important decisions in her professional career. The corporate culture fostered here, the high professional standards and the respectful attitude toward people create an environment where continuous development and new achievements are always possible.
Chief Financial Officer
Samvel's began his career at the company as Head of Research, where he built a strong foundation in analytical thinking and market intelligence, earning a reputation as a trusted voice in financial insights. His command of data, markets and strategic analysis naturally positioned him for the next step - transitioning into the CFO role. Samvel also holds a PhD in Finance from the Russian Armenian State University (Yerevan, 2007) and is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
